Viruses are most often spread thru attachments to an e-mail. If you ever get an e-mail from anyone (even a close friend) that has an attachment and that does not have a message that would say what that person would normally say to you, delete it. Do not open it. It most likely is a virus sent automatically thru their address book. When a virus gets into a computer, it usually gets into your e-mail address book. The next time you send an e-mail, everyone in your address book then gets an e-mail from you that gives them the same e-mail that brought the virus to you. If they open the enclosure, then it goes out from them, etc., etc., etc.
This is experience talking. I once got an e-mail from my best friend that had an attachment with some beautiful pictures of fireworks. I even enlarged the pictures--so beautiful! I then had to spend hours deleting and changing system files in order to get rid of it. Sometimes you have to format your hard drive and start from scratch, so beware! Watch
out for those bugs!
